IMPORTANT UPDATE Full Moon Night Climb on Wednesday, October 8th 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Admission is FREE.

No tours will occur during the event.

If conditions allow us to open one or two towers for climbing, there will be no tower climb fee.

We select the optimal date each fall when sunset and moonrise occur in tandem. And wouldn’t you know that it’s also a full moon that will rise up over the Atlantic on October 8, 2025 (Sunset: 6:26 pm, Moonrise: 7:06 pm @ 96%).

Join us and bring a wee bit of a picnic for yourselves (no alcohol), and enjoy the moonrise from the grounds, while enjoying some live jazz music.

For an even more special experience, please park at the Henry Hudson High School parking lot and walk over. This mostly flat leisurely stroll along a paved path and grassy areas of the athletic fields will give you a dramatic view as you approach the Twin Lights. It will also alleviate the tight parking situation that we have, so we really appreciate all those who are able to park there . The route will be well marked and have guidelights to get you back there after the event is over.

All exhibits will be kept open (weather permitting) and Twin Lights Historical Society volunteers will be on hand, so go ahead and ask them questions..
