Becoming a volunteer with the Twin Lights Historical Society is easy and fun.  Just send us the interest form below and we will be in touch to speak with you directly about the following possible roles.

Museum Store Attendant

Working in the museum store operated by the Twin Lights Historical Society is our most popular and essential volunteer position, and consists of one, four hour shift a week, greeting and engaging with visitors as they come in, helping to keep the shop tidy, answering basic historical questions, and checking-out merchandise. You have the opportunity to learn as much or as little history of the site as you’d like.

Event Staff

The few special events that occur at the Twin Lights every year offer a more casual volunteer option. We will notify you of upcoming events to see if you would be interested in helping at our welcome table greeting visitors.

Museum Operations

Another more casual volunteer option is helping our Operations Manager from time-to-time with housekeeping, organization and administrative chores within the museum, offices and store.
